PENSIONER Renee McDonnell was left without her false teeth and glasses after opportunist thieves took advantage of an open door.
The items, along with a purse, were left in a bag stolen from the 64-year-old woman's home in Manchester Road, Blackford Bridge, between Friday night and Saturday morning (April19-20). A door had been accidentally left open.
Daughter Sharon McDonnell said: "It may sound funny but there is a serious side to this. They will cost about £900 to replace.
"If the handbag has been thrown away and anybody finds it, we would be grateful to get it back."
