WESHAM Road Runners were the top team with 37 points in last Sunday's Lancaster Three Bridges 10K race, thanks to Dave Waywell, Martin Bates and John Bertenshaw who finished sixth, tenth and 21st respectively.
Bates was also the second male vet 45, Bertenshaw was fifth male vet 45 and Waywell was first male vet 55.
Wesham's London Marathon times were as follows: Trevor Rayner 2:52:58 (Personal Best); Alan Hudson 3:03:33; Derek Buckley 3:09:55; Bernadette Dickinson 3:29:20 (PB); Jonathan Lawson 3:57:12 (PB); Brian Porter 4:11:45 (stopped for a massage after 22 miles); Dave Young 4:15:51; Wendy Smith 4:39:15; Brenda Dwyer 4:51:12; Sue Godfrey 5:14:05 (PB); Diane Byron 5:14:16 (PB); Laura Baker 5:38:31 (PB).
