ALTHOUGH Gym started brightly in the 'A' game, YMCA soon began to gain superiority. They hit the woodwork on five occasions and the visitors' keeper saved other efforts before an Oliver Fox hat trick gave YMCA their win. In the 'B' game, in-form Ben Cudworth gave YMCA a first minute lead, Kyle Thompson making it 2-0 at the break. Gym then took advantage of YMCA's goalkeeping crisis by pulling back to 2-2 but the impressive Ryan Vaughan snatched a YMCA winner.

YMCA 'B' U10s 1 South Shore U10s 'B' 1
JAMES Gardiner gave YMCA an interval lead in the 'A' game but the talented visitors netted twice in the second half to claim victory. YMCA had the edge in the 'B' game and looked to have notched the points with a superb Joe Van-Breemen goal five minutess from time, but Shore scrambled an equaliser in the dying seconds.

THE 'A' game was very even and in the end a draw was a fair result. Jonathan Brown and keeper Daniel Spencer were both outstanding. YMCA's 'B' side struggled to cope with their physically stronger opponents early on and soon went a goal behind. Although Adam Zyda levelled, Gym netted twice more to go 3-1 ahead. YMCA made it 3-2 at the break, Chris Barlow finishing off a brilliant move, and then they staged a gutsy and spirited second half fight back. Zyda levelled the scores and with Gym looking stunned at seeing their two-goal lead cancelled out, YMCA took control of the game. Zyda netted again to complete his hat trick and an incredible YMCA fight-back.
YMCA U11s 4 Fleetwood Gym 1
YMCA, who had already claimed the championship, completed their league campaign with a hard-earned victory. Two superb strikes by Kyle Hendry put them 2-0 ahead midway through the first half and an equally spectacular goal from Jordan Douthwaite made it 3-0 at the break. The sporting Gym outfit never gave up and deservedly notched a consolation goal after Adam Whiteside had added a fourth for YMCA.
YMCA U12s 3 Kirkham U12s 3
Playing their eighth fixture inside 14 days in the middle of a mammoth April schedule of 15 games, YMCA appeared jaded in the first half at and Kirkham coasted into a 3-0 interval lead. But YMCA rediscovered their usual rhythm after the restart and staged a tremendously gutsy fight-back, two goals from Ben Seear and one from Luke Andrews eventually salvaging them a deserved point
Clifton U12s 0 YMCA U12s 7
TITLE chasing YMCA returned to winning ways 24 hours after dropping two points with this comfortable win. Strikes by Johnnie Cundliffe and Rick Beesley gave them a 2-0 interval lead and their dominance increased after the break with five more goals. Cundliffe netted twice more to complete his hat trick, Ric Seear notched a pair with Luke Andrews also on target. Johnnie Cundliffe and Ric Seear have now passed the half century mark in goals for this season
YMCA U14s 8 Our Lady U14s 0
STRIKER Luke Whitworth had to withdraw early in the game with an ankle injury which required hospital treatment, but with the help of two penalty awards YMCA reached the interval 6-0 ahead. Danny Pickering bagged four goals before he, too, was withdrawn with Jack Sharples and Chris Corless also on target. They remained well in control in the second half with Joe Appleton and Brad McSpirit adding further goals. Richard Ayres and Adam Errington were both notable in a well disciplined team display.
South Shore U15s 2 YMCA U15s 8
YMCA were a goal behind early in this Supplementary Cup group game but two goals from Andy Mitchell and another by Andy Harvie put them 3-1 ahead. Shore reduced the deficit but a second goal by Harvie and a strike from Sean Whiteside gave YMCA a 5-2 interval lead. They continued to have the initiative in the second half and the outstanding Mitchell scored again to complete his hat trick. Sean Atkinson and Wesley Nobbs also added a goal apiece to complete a convincing win
YMCA Seniors U17s 1 Thornton Juniors U17s 1
YMCA brought the curtain down on what's been a very satisfactory campaign by preventing Thornton from collecting the three points they needed to clinch the title. Despite having only 11 players available, YMCA reached the interval 1-0 ahead thanks to a goal from Eddie Taylor. Play continued to swing from end to end and, although YMCA probably created the more clear cut chances, they couldn't add to their score and the visitors notched a point with an equaliser.
