ENGLAND'S bid for World Cup glory is set to be kicked off by Bolton's Sven Goran Eriksson lookalike Colin Lyne.
The 55-year-old photographer takes on the role of England's football manager for the official World Cup music video.
He appears alongside popstars-cum-TV presenters Ant and Dec whose single, On The Ball, will be released in time for this summer's World Cup Finals.
Colin, a dead ringer for the Swedish-born manager, takes up much of the video's two minutes and 59 seconds. He is chased by Ant and Dec, who are desperate to gain entry to an England match.
Colin said: "It's a brilliant video and I'm chuffed to bits with it. It's been the highlight of my work as a Sven lookalike so far and I've got my fingers crossed it will end up on Top of the Pops.
"It would be great to sway my hips and mime the song on there!" Colin, who works for the Bolton Evening News' sister paper, the Leigh Journal, has become a local celebrity since his likeness to Sven was spotted by colleagues. He even has his own promotional websites at colinlyne.co.uk HERE and svengoraneriksson.info HERE
Filming for the Sony-produced video took place at a variety of locations in Yorkshire. Colin said: "Ant and Dec were brilliant. When I arrived on set, I was quite stunned by the full film crew which had been assembled.
"But Dec walked straight over to me and said hello -- and that put me at ease."
The video will be aired on all of the major music channels, including MTV and The Box, from May.
