A TEN-year-old girl, struck in the face by a brick in November, has been given the all-clear from her consultant optician for the next six months.
Nadia Butler lives with her grandmother Norah in Birch Street, Bacup, and attends St Mary's RC School.
Nadia was going to spend her birthday money in the Local Day and Nite Store in King Street, Bacup, when struck in the face by a brick.
The injury damaged her right eye and she has been having specialist hospital treatment in the months since the incident.
Norah said: "When Nadia went back for her check-up on Wednesday the consultant was pleased with her progress and doesn't need to see her again until October."
