This week, DANIEL DONNELLY, 27, waves goodbye to bricks and mortar
COMPANY director Daniel Donnelly has a different perspective on life to many homeowners -- he looks out on to towpaths and has ducklings paddling past within inches of his door.
Daniel, 27, a director of the family business Colorblind in Burnley, has invested £50,000 in a narrowboat so he can move house almost any time he likes.
Since investing in The Ginger Lady, Daniel has moored up at Barnoldswick and Burnley and now spends his time floating between his brother's home in Manchester and his father's in Preston.
But his favourite canalside spot so far has been Red Rock, an area of Wigan by the side of the Leeds-Liverpool Canal, which charmed him with its pretty outlook and nearby pub so he could enjoy a drink.
"This week I was in Manchester, cruised down to Sale, had something to eat and cruised back. It's a totally different life, a different world. You don't hear cars going past and it's nice and peaceful," he said.
