NURSING managers in Blackburn have unveiled plans which will make sure patients get the best service.
The nursing and midwifery strategy for the Blackburn, Hyndburn and Ribble Valley NHS Trust, launched at Blackburn Royal Infirmary's education centre, aims to respond to questions from patients.
John Thomas, director of the East Lancashire Hospitals Merger Project, said: "A highly-skilled, committed and caring workforce is central to delivering high quality services. It is important when planning and developing services that we always consider the needs of patients."
The strategy was launched by Talib Yaseen, head of nursing at the Directorate of Health and Social Care.
