GROUNDWORK'S Earthlings project is offering people advice as part of National Composting Week.
The project is situated at Offshoots, next to the natural history centre at Towneley Hall, Burnley, and is nationally recognised as a centre of excellence. Groundwork's Jackie Flynn said: "Composting can be as simple as collecting kitchen waste and tea bags. It produces valuable compost to get your flowers or vegetables growing."
Anyone interested in the project can visit between 1pm and 4pm on Wednesday.
Other items of interest include a solar and wind turbine power generator and a reed bed water cleaning system.
