A TOUCH of Shakespeare comes to Accrington Town Hall on Saturday when an evening of song and photography will bring the work of the Bard to life.
'Kean on Shakespeare' is a multi-media evening's entertainment performed by Burnley mother and daughter Brenda and Helena Kean.
A slide presentation looks at the possibility that Shakespeare spent part of his life in Lancashire, initially at Hoghton Tower.
Mezzo soprano Helena Kean will perform a number of songs by Lancashire composers, including Sir William Wallton.
A highlight of the evening promises to be a song composed by Yvonne Eccles from Great Harwood, who is studying at the Guildhall School of Music.
Tickets for Kean on Shakespeare priced £10 are available from the information centre at Accrington Town Hall.
