MORRIS dancing and months of pub fundraising have raised £1,000 for charity.
Raymond Mill, landlord of the Forester's Arms in Pleasant Street, Haslingden, handed over two £500 cheques to representatives of Lee Sykes National Centre and Rossendale Hospice.
Raymond said: "We read about the Lee Sykes charity for children with cerebral palsy and felt very sympathetic to their cause. The children need all the help we can give."
The money was raised during a three-month fundraising campaign involving collections and raffles and culminated in a special day of festivities featuring the Britannia Coconutters clog dancers.
