A MAN indecently exposed himself to a woman on a disused playing field, Darwen police say.
The offender, said to be aged 45-50, was seen near to some bushes on an area known as the Moss, near Rivington.
His trousers were down and he exposed himself to a woman who was out walking her dog.
The woman told police she had earlier seen the man pass her in a black saloon car with yellow taxi plates.
The man was described as white, 5ft 9in with a 'beer belly'.
He had dark grey hair and wore a cream shirt and dark trousers.
DC Paul Ryan, of Darwen CID, said it was "a serious offence".
He said: "People sometime start off with crimes like this but then progress into offences much more serious. He must be caught."
