A GOAL within five minutes guided St Theodore's to another President's Shield win against old foes Habergham High.
Ashley Bryan's goal poacher's instinct set the Saints on their way to their second successive Shield victory that stretches their record to 21 win in the past 27 years.
Striker Bryan put the Saints in control but they the Saints had to survive Habergham onslaught as they battle to get back in the game.
However, despite their domination midway through the half, Saints keeper Josh Boothman was rarely threatened while left back Jack Hargreaves was in fine form.
Hargreaves played an integral part in the victory as he was switched to central midfield as the Saints regain the initiative.
And it did the trick as Adam Kay double their lead after 50 minutes.
The central midfield player dribbled around two Habergham defenders and finished with a crisp low drive to put the Saints firmly in the driving seat. Despite a spirited second half performance from Habergham they could not break down St Theodore's defence and substitute Michael McCormack made it 3-0 with his first kick of the game with a goal from close range.
