CHILD poverty is the main theme of this year's Save The Children week which began last Sunday (April 28). The Blackburn branch will be holding its annual house to house collection and one in Morrison's supermarket on Friday.
Next Wednesday we will be holding our annual meeting at 7.30pm in Sacred Heart parish room, Preston New Road, when guest speaker Mrs Sally Barker will give a talk on the history of Save The Children.
Everyone is welcome and entrance is free.
If you would like to make a postal donation, please make your cheque payable to Save The Children and forward it to me.
