STAFF at Perseverance Mill in Albion Street, Padiham, are set to put their outdoor equipment to good use when they attempt the three peaks challenge in 24 hours.
The group of fundraisers will set off from the factory on Friday, June 14, at 10am and be back home the following day at 10am.
The trek starts at Ben Nevis, in Scotland, before the group go on to Scafell Pike, in Cumbria and then finish by hiking to the top of Snowdon, Wales.
Philip Gardner, 41, of St John's Road, Padiham, is leading the hike. He said: "We are really looking forward to the trip and are aiming to raise about £12,000.
"It will be a challenge for some of us because the majority of people taking part are not very fit but we are all determined that we will finish the trip in one piece."
The group of 11 staff will be raising the money for Derian House, the Padiham Disabled funds and the Padiham Youth Club.
