THE decision to pull the plug on ITV Digital came as no surprise to Clarets chairman Barry Kilby but he promised: "We still want to get our money from Carlton and Granada.
"To be honest this has been on the cards for some time as it has become obvious that ITV Digital was unsaveable and that Carlton and Granada are unwilling, under any circumstances, to keep it going.
"In reality our position has not actually changed as we still hold the two companies responsible for ITV Digital not honouring its commitments."
The uncertainty has badly hit Burnley's plans for next season with manager Stan Ternent uncertain what budget he will be working with and Kilby confessed: "We all just have to wait and see.
"We can't do anything, our hands are tied and I think that might be part of the television companies tactics.
"All other clubs are in the same position but that does not make it any better."
