PUPILS and teachers at Holy Trinity Primary School in Stacksteads have raised a fantastic £2,500 for charity.
The school held a mini-marathon where all the 240 youngsters aged four to 11 took part in a relay to complete the marathon distance.
Meanwhile headteacher John Aspin completed his second London Marathon in record time for him of 3 hours 49 minutes.
He said: "So far we have collected £2,500 for the charity Children with Leukaemia and there is still some money to come in."
Mr Aspin also raised money through his run for the national children's mobility charity Whizzkidz.
