OVER the previous months I have received letters offering me thousands of pounds and even been told that I have won thousands of pounds.
The catch? -- I have to send them a few quid first. Letters promising sacks full of cash have come from as far away as Holland, Germany and Canada. How they have got my home details is a mystery.
They all want cash up front to send you the fortune you are supposed to have won.
The only place for mail like this is in the bin, but some people are either too greedy or too gullible and are taken in by this con and left out of pocket.
The old saying is if an offer is too good to be true it probably is. Dump any international con mail -- it will save you money in the long run.
