LEIGH Centurions will have just one thing on their minds when they trek up to Barrow on Sunday - victory.

With the Centurions log-jammed alongside Barrow and Whitehaven at the top of the Buddies National League West Division table, they have set their sights on heading the group.

"We want to finish top," declares coach Paul Terzis. "We've as good as qualified for the knockout quarter-finals as it is, but we've set our stall out to go through a Group winners."

Terzis believes his side have returned from the week off fully refreshed and ready for the second half of the season.

"The break has done us all the world of good," he says. "We started training for the season over five months ago and this is the first real break the players have had. The training sessions we've had this week have been exceptional and I'm confident of a good performance and good result at Barrow.

"Craven Park isn't an easy place to go and get a result but it holds no fears for us."

Terzis will send out a strong side at Craven Park with Simon Baldwin the only major absentee. Baldwin picked up a hand injury in the last game against Chorley and he's not fully recovered.

Winger Dave Ingram will also have to wait a little longer to claim his 100th try for the club. He faces a visit to a specialist after suffering a knee injury.

But on the credit side Terzis is able to recall Jon Roper, John Duffy and Phil Kendrick while Simon Svabic is expected to be back from his broken finger next week. Young scrum half Lee Sanderson will start his comeback after a broken jaw in Sunday's Acadamy U19s home game against Workington. Sunday's Academy opener for the U19s kicks off at 12.45pm.

Roper will make his first appearance in the Buddies competition after shoulder trouble, Duffy has been given the all-clear following concussion at Whitehaven and Kendrick has been back in full training after four weeks injury absence.

Svabic is close to a return but is likely to be held back until next week to make sure his recovery is complete.

Terzis has named the following side: Turley; Irwin, Anderson, Roper, Andrews; Duffy, Swann; Matautia, Rowley, Bradbury, Morley, Bristow, Isherwood. Subs from: Knox, Hamilton, Price, Kendrick, McCully.

The draw for the quarter-finals takes place on Radio Leeds on Sunday night.
