COLNE Water Angling Club has expanded its opportunities for still water and trout fishing for its 50th anniversary season by securing the Churn Clough Reservoir near Sabden.
The club already fish at the Laneshaw Reservoir between Colne and Cowling, in West Yorkshire, and fishing rights for wild brown trout are also enjoyed on the Colne Water, which has also been extended for the 2002 season.
Secretary Robin Varley said: "The 2002 package is excellent not least as once again we have waived the entrance fee for new members. We are particularly keen to encourage younger members."
