ACCRINGTON Road Safety officers dealt with an accident involving four cars in Whalley Road at 9pm last night , which left one person with minor injuries.
The first car, a Leyland Freight Rover, had damage to the front, while the second car, a Volkswagen Golf, driven by Paul Sleep, of Meadow Street, Great Harwood, was extensively damaged to the front and back.
Paul, aged 33, was taken to Blackburn Royal Infirmary suffering from whiplash but later left.
The third car, a Hyundai Accent, driven by Harry Dean, of Cleveleys Road, Accrington, was damaged at the back, while the fourth car, a Isuzu Trooper, driven by Brian Capstick, of Church, was slightly damaged at the front.
