STUDENTS at Lytham St Annes High School proved they were top of the class by winning this year's Top of The Fylde schools quiz, organised by Blackpool and The Fylde College.
A total of 25 teams from 14 Fylde schools entered the ten-round quiz, now in its seventh year. They met at the college's Bispham Campus to answer questions devised by David Hesp, from the college's school of academic studies, who is a former Brain of Britain and TV and radio quiz show regular.
Blackpool and The Fylde College vice principal Felicity Greeves presented all the contestants with a certificate and the winning team with the Top of The Fylde Trophy.
