AN indifferent first half display with incomplete sets of six, sloppy defence and missed conversions meant the Leigh Miners Rangers Under 9s went in 12-16 down at the break to Bank Quay Bulls.
But the team showed their true colours and fighting spirit by coming out and 'nilling' the opposition in the second half .
Super subs Xenos and Patient made good metres with their strong running. Dutton was top tackler and Fox and Marsden were joint MOM.
Tries were scored by Fox (3), Ratcliffe (2) and McCall.
