A DISTRAUGHT woman is offering a reward after jewellery dating back 150 years was stolen during a burglary at her Astley home.
Joyce Woodward returned home late on Friday, April 26 to discover all her own, as well as jewellery which had belonged to her late mother and grandmother had been taken from their hiding places.
The thieves entered her Manchester Road home through an upstairs window, ran-sacked the bedrooms and left with the jewellery and cash.
The jewellery, which is of great sentimental value, includes watch chains, wedding rings and engagement rings.
Anyone with information should contact Mrs Woodward on 01942 873687.
