REGARDING the survey (LET, April 29) that showed Blackburn had risen 21 places in the Retail Ranking index, and is now in 129th place, 12 places higher than Burnley, considering how many millions of pounds of our taxes that, over the year, have been spent on Blackburn town centre I would have been very surprised if it had been anything less.
The report omitted to say how well or how badly Darwen had done.
Or is Darwen of so little significance that it does not matter how it did?
