WHAT a relief! This time last week, I feared I wasn't going to be able to sit down and watch the FA Cup final in comfort because the spectre of relegation was still hanging over us.
But now that we are safe, I can sit back and enjoy what promises to be one of the most fascinating finals for many a year.
Arsenal and Chelsea are without doubt two of the most exciting teams in the Premiership.
And if the game lives up to everyone's expectations then we could be in for a real classic.
Personally, I'd like to see Chelsea win it for the sake of my good friend, John Terry.
But if my heart says the Blues then my head says Arsenal because the Gunners look invincible on current form.
I've no doubts whatsoever that Arsene Wenger's men will go on to clinch the title and they deserve to, as far as I'm concerned, because they are the best side we've played all season.
That's why I'm also backing them for the double because they've got world class players in every department.
Sol Campbell is starting to reproduce the kind of form which had every major club in Europe pursuing his services last summer, Thierry Henry is in awesome form up front, and with the possible exception of Roy Keane, there's no better central midfielder in the Premiership than Patrick Vieira.
But the one player who has really impressed me over the last few months is Freddie Ljungberg.
The Swede with the crazy hair is currently on fire and his goals over the last three weeks are the main reason why the title is heading for Highbury.
If he carries on in such a rich vein of form, then I can't see anything other than an Arsenal victory tomorrow.
I just wish it was us who were going to walk out at Cardiff instead.
Lifting the Worthington Cup there earlier this season was the pinnacle of my career and all those memories will come flooding back tomorrow when I see the magnificent Millennium Stadium packed to the rafters again.
I suppose we can't be greedy, though.
We've had a fantastic season of our own and we can now start to look forward to the next campaign with a real sense of confidence.
Back in August we would have settled for survival but to win a cup and qualify for Europe as well was beyond our wildest dreams.
Now, bizarrely, we could even finish as high as ninth in the table which would be an amazing achievement considering we were still flirting with relegation this time last week.
Enjoy your week!
