A KURDISH asylum seeker staged his own one-man protest outside housing association offices because of his accommodation problems.
Blackburn magistrates heard that Khalid Ali's frustration boiled over and he was eventually arrested.
Ali, 26, of no fixed address, admitted a breach of the peace and was bound over in the sum of £25 to keep the peace for six months.
Neil White, prosecuting, said Ali was outside the Marlborough Housing Association offices and as members of staff left he was shouting things at them, voicing his dissatisfaction.
"At one stage he stood near a car belonging to one of the association employees with a brick in his hand," said Mr White.
The police were called and Ali complied with a request to leave the area but he returned shortly after and was arrested.
Basharat Ditta, defending, said the housing association was trying to rehouse Ali but it was taking time and he had become frustrated.
"His frustrations simply got the better of him on this day," said Mr Ditta.
