LEIGH Centurions are appealing to rugby league fans to give their temporary tenants Swinton Lions a helping hand through their difficulties.
The Lions, in the middle of a financial crisis, are to play their next four "home" games at Leigh's Hilton Park while Gigg Lane is being re-seeded.
Centurions chief executive Tommy Cunningham said: "Swinton will be having the gate receipts and all they can earn. We're just pleased to give them a chance."
The Lions play their first 'home' game at Hilton Park this Sunday when Whitehaven are the visitors in the Buddies National League Cup, kick off 3pm.
Admission prices have been set at £7 for adults and £4 for concessions with a £2 transfer to the stands.
