A SCHOOL'S grounds have been brighten up by the land of the rising sun.
Crosshill School, Shadsworth Road, Blackburn, now has a Japanese Millennium Garden after it was opened yesterday by the Mayor of Blackburn with Darwen Coun John Williams.
The garden has a covered seating area, a platform over a bog garden, trees, shrubs, perfumed plants and a tactile pillar with animals carved in stone. It will be developed further in the future with features designed by pupils.
