A THEATRE company is inviting people with an interest in theatre, music -- or just making new friends -- to enrol on a course on Thursday.
People aged 17 and upwards are invited to enrol at 3pm at Westbury Gardens, Church, to take part in the three-week course -- which runs from Monday, May 27.
Chloe Whitehead, who runs Blackburn-based Talia Theatre, said: "You don't have to have done any drama or theatre before, but you could learn a lot of skills. Or you may just want to meet people."
The last course, held a couple of months ago, was so successful that the performing group -- who have called themselves Cat 'n' Pillar -- produced a play about bullying and cultural diversity called Pick 'n' Mix, which is aimed at children and has been staged in schools.
One school was so impressed it sent the nine performers cheques for £15 each, even though they had staged it free of charge.
Anyone who would like more details before deciding to enrol can contact Chloe on 0161 249 0564.
