REGARDING your article on St Bartholomew's Church, Ewood, next to Blackburn Rovers' ground (LET, April 13).
I have recently started attending there and I am so delighted.
One can be very sure of a high quality, warm, clear service in very mixed company, without the trappings of some places of worship.
The vicar and curates are very down to earth and never waffle on.
This is a family church which is caring and organised and is regularly full.
It is good to know that there is a church that clearly does understand the values of life, has vision for outreach and is, above all, loving and welcoming.
I'm certain visitors who come down will be sure to stay.
