THE COBBLES of Manchester's most famous street or the glamorous set of a new television drama could be within reach for budding young actors and actresses in Prestwich.
Former Coronation Street actress Jeni Williams is to share her acting expertise with local talent in a new TV School at the Longfield Suite.
Jeni, who played the battered mother of Roy and Haley's foster child, Wayne, in the soap, has returned to Prestwich after seven years to teach youngsters who have a desire to be on TV.
Having lived in Sedgley Park for some time, Jeni (35) has moved back to the area to live in Butterstile Lane.
Over the past four years she has successfully helped 49 children gain work in 20 different programmes on television.
Jeni has appeared in Clocking Off, Linda Green and Cops as well as spending seven months on The Street and two of her more famous success stories are the Grimshaw boys who are currently starring in the soap.
The Jeni Williams TV School starts this Thursday, (May 16) and classes will be held every week for a 12 month course.
