THE new manager of a live entertainment night-spot destined for Blackburn can be revealed today.
Darren Rowley, 36, has been appointed as manager of the 21st Jumpin' Jaks set to open in St Peter Street at the end of the month.
His five-years experience with Europe's largest night-time entertainment operator, Luminar leisure -- the company behind Jumpin' Jaks -- made the Derbyshire-born man a first choice.
Darren said: "I started out as a DJ and an entertainer so I know what type of entertainment Jumpin Jaks has to offer and to whom it might appeal.
"Jaks has booked acts like Atomic Kitten and Blue in the past year so I am confident we will see some of those kind of acts in Blackburn, beginning with the opening night when we are looking to secure some big name artiste."
National openings manager for Jumpin' Jacks, Andrew MacLeod, said: "Darren has worked for us at management level for five years during which time the company has gone from strength to strength.
"He has all the credentials to make Jumpin Jaks in Blackburn a major success and is looking forward to the opening night and is excited about bringing the concept of Jumpin Jaks to Blackburn."
The club is set to open on May 30.
