POLICE are hunting a flasher who has struck twice in just over a month in the same street and witnessed by the same girl.
The shocked eight-year-old saw both incidents while playing with friends in Fairfield Drive, Bury. The latest indecent exposure happened shortly after 3pm on Saturday (May 11).
The youngster was playing with a 12-year-old girl when they walked past a man who appeared to be fixing the wheel of his car with a screwdriver.
As they neared the man, he exposed himself to the girls.
They ran home and the eight-year-old told her parents that it was the same man who had exposed himself to her on April 7, also in Fairfield Drive.
On that occasion the offender was described as white, aged about 40, with a goatee beard.
At the time of both offences the man was wearing a t-shirt and shorts and was working on a grey-coloured Citroen Saxo.
The father of the eight-year-old girl told the Bury Times: "My daughter was confident this was the same man. The older girl managed to get the car's registration number which has now been passed onto police."
A spokesman for Bury police, PC John Flowers, said: "We are treating this latest incident very seriously and are due to obtain video evidence from the young girl today."
None of the young victims was physically harmed in either incident.
