THOUGH I am a disabled, elderly and sick person, fortunately, I find I am in the right place at the right time.
The regeneration programme for Blackburn has taken a lot of criticism, but I find it is a pleasure to go shopping in a traffic-free area -- crossing Church Street and walking a few yards of Darwen Street for a pint and walking back down Church Street to Ainsworth Street for the bus back home.
Councillor Ashley Whalley has taken a lot of flak over the years, but he can sit back now and see his dream project taking shape and working -- and Blackburn a town to be proud of.
