A MAN who was said to have become depressed when he was labelled a "grass" for giving evidence in a neighbour's nuisance case faced magistrates at Bury.
Michael Moores, aged 48, of Holland Street, Miles Platting, was arrested after he picked up an iron from Asda in Bury and tried to get a credit note, claiming he had bought it previously and wanted to return it.
Moores was given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £55 court costs.
