THE 1005 (Radcliffe, Whitefield and Prestwich) Squadron of the Air Training Corps is celebrating its 60th anniversary tomorrow (Thursday) at 7pm.
It will be opening its doors in Knowles Street, Radcliffe, to ex-members of staff, former cadets and the public. Guests will include MP Ivan Lewis and Mr Pickstone, a founder member who joined the unit while waiting for his RAF call-up in World War Two.
