STUDENTS and pupils of Blackburn College braved the rain to join together and hold hands to promote a multi-cultural society.
The inspiration behind the human circle, which took place yesterday morning, was college learning support worker Adil Babar.
Adil said: "I thought it would be a good idea for all staff and students at the college to hold hands to promote the fact that we are united and can live in a multi-cultural society."
Principal Sheena Ewing added: "It was a celebration of achievement and cultural harmony and we were pleased at the wonderful turnout despite the pouring rain."
