SUPER-SLIMMER Paul Dunn weighed in for the last time at the end of a calorie-counting marathon and found he had swapped lbs for charity £s.
The Great Harwood fundraiser had lost more than two stones when he stepped on to the scales at the town's health centre in Water Street.
Paul, 41, of Green Hill, who clocked a mighty 21-stone at the start of his campaign, raised £250 for the Great Harwood Royal British Legion and the Greenhill Residents' Association's new Jubilee Centre after cooking up the idea of a sponsored slim.
The community centre has just bought four computers to give hi-tech access to people who cannot afford to buy their own hardware.
Looking back on his three-month triumph of self-denial, Paul, a security officer at the Clayton Business Park, said: "I think I missed the beer and the sweets most.
"I've been a big lad for years and it was just a case of trying to cut down.
"I was more or less under orders to lose weight from the doctor, so I thought I might as well do it for charity."
