THE Lancaster and District Coalition Against the War has hailed its week of international solidarity as a resounding success.
Several events were staged, including participation in the International Labour Day march and videos and talks.
The group is continuing to meet every Monday night from 7.30pm at the Gregson Centre.
Future events include a visit to London on Saturday to participate in the march and demonstration for the Palestinian Solidarity Committee.
On May 23 there will be a repeat showing of the video 'Not In My Name' at lecture theatre one, Furness College, Lancaster University, starting at 8pm.
The film exposes the full horror and injustice of the war on terrorism.
The group urges all those who support the war or are undecided to see the film.
