PUPILS at Moorland High School, Darwen, galloped away with enterprise award success.
Year 10 students Mohammed Abdoul Karim and Christine Swanton received the award for best company in the Blackburn with Darwen Young Enterprise of the Year awards.
Their idea to design, build and sell rocking horses for toddlers made first place, with companies as big as Asda negotiating contracts with them.
David Fallazie, technician at the Holden Fold school, said: "The children have organised it from start to finish and now that it has become a huge success, they are very deserved winners.
"They have found a sub-contracting company in Darwen who now makes them because the orders were coming in too fast for them to keep-up.
"It is really exciting because they are the company directors - we just help with insurance and technicalities."
The school won a total of five awards including best report and best overall.
