AN insurance agent accused of theft and false accounting, which could total £120,000, has appeared before magistrates in Bury.
Graham Evans, aged 47, from North Clifden Lane, Salford, faces a total of 25 charges dating back to 1999.
The offences involve obtaining cash and falsifying documents and are said to have occurred in Prestwich, Middleton, and elsewhere in Greater Manchester while he was working for Parkside Insurance.
Evans, who declined to enter a plea, had the case against him adjourned until July 11 when committal proceedings to the Crown Court are expected to take place. Bail was given.
