EAGLE-eyed viewers may have spotted something familiar during Wednesday's (May 16) edition of BBC1's Animal Hospital.
That's because the popular television show included a segment from the day it spent filming in Radcliffe last month.
Camera crews went to Pendle Nursing Home to see how the charity, Pets As Therapy (PAT), works.
And they recorded the benefits that a visit from Ellie the King Charles Cavalier had on the homes elderly residents.
PAT co-ordinator Jane Atkinson explained that taking pets into nursing homes and hospitals and encouraging residents to stroke, talk and pet the animals, helps reduce stress, depression and feelings of isolation.
