LOTS of money was raised when Hear'Say and Sir Steve Redgrave went under the hammer at The Brook pub in Ramsbottom!
The charity autograph auction, organised by landlord Steve Taylor and Bob Williamson, comedian and writer, raised £1,400 for Multiple Sclerosis and the NSPCC.
Most expensive lots sold included a signed photograph of Olympic gold medallist Sir Steve Redgrave and his team-mates which raised £95. Spike Milligan's signed photo brought in £80, and a poster of the film Chicken Run signed by Nick Parker fetched £75.
Real bargains included an autographed photo of Cherie Blair which went for £5; Hear'Say for £6 and Frank Bruno for just £2!
Landlord Steve Taylor commented: "Many thanks go to all who supported the event and helped make it a great success."
