A BRIDEGROOM is appealing for the return of his lost camera which contained precious photographs of his wedding and reception.
Derek Jones lost the camera between the Pack Horse in Birtle and his home in Middleton following Saturday's (May 11) wedding to Helena.
"After the film was used up, I put the camera back into my suit pocket," said 43-year-old Derek.
But the following morning, he discovered the camera was missing.
"I left the Pack Horse between 9.30pm and 10.45pm to travel back to Middleton by taxi. Moorside Taxis were told and they spoke to the driver," he added.
"We do know that after we were dropped off, the taxi went back and picked up at the Seven Stars in Rochdale Road, Bury, which was the driver's last job of the evening."
Derek is anxious to be re-united with the camera or, failing that, the film. The Pentax camera was inside a black case.
Anyone with information can call the Pack Horse on 764 3620 or telephone Derek on 345 8470.
