FUTUBA Tenneco UK, in Liverpool Road, have applied for full planning permission for a proposed new building on the site. The building would enable the company to expand, creating a tool and maintenance store.
Anyone wishing to comment or object to this application should quote application number 12/02/0245 before May 31. To view plans, call at the planning office on Parker Lane between 9am and 5pm.
The application will be considered by members of Burnley Borough Council's development control committee.
THE arts and crafts exhibition at Greenbrook Church, Greenbrook Road, has been attracting visitors from all over the borough to raise money for church funds.
The annual event has been going for more than a decade. It is open from 2.30pm to 4.30pm and 5.30pm to 8.30pm.
Organiser Jean Curson, said: "The exhibition has been running for many years and each year it brings a lease of new success. It is an event that everybody enjoys."
There are plenty of stands and displays on show and the exhibition runs until Sunday.
A PUBLIC meeting is to be held at the Railway Club, Back Rosegrove Lane, on Monday, at 7.15pm for residents to discuss council services and how they could improve.
MEMBERS of Rosegrove Railway Club football team are celebrating after finishing runners up in the First Division of the Burnley and District Football League and also winning the Bob Emmett Cup.
