IT'S billed as one of the highlights of the Queen's Golden Jubilee celebrations, and Radcliffe horsewoman Jayne Whitehead will be right at the heart of it.
Jayne (29), of The Firs, Bradley Fold, is taking part in All The Queen's Horses, the country's largest outdoor theatrical jubilee event.
Being staged in Windsor, and running until Saturday (May 18), 1,000 participants and 2,000 horses will recreate the Queen's finest equestrian occasions, including the 1953 Coronation procession with the magnificent gold state coach.
A dramatic night-time theatrical extravaganza, set against the exquisite backdrop of the floodlit Windsor Castle, All The Queen's Horses promises to be one of the most patriotic and memorable events this century.
Speaking from rehearsals at Windsor earlier this week, Jayne said: "It's quite exciting and a bit hairy at the same time. The theme of the section I'm taking part in is called 'Balmoral' so there are a lot of bagpipes and guns, which worry the horses a bit."
She will be riding her 20-year-old horse, Dynamik, who is no stranger to attention, having been the famous Lloyd's Bank horse on a number of adverts.
Jayne's parents, Lorraine and Colin will be going to watch their daughter, but you can see the event on BBC 1 on Sunday (May 19).
