BURNLEY Borough Council is to carry out a consultation on how to improve the neighbourhood in the Padiham and Kiddrow and Gannow Lane areas.
The exercise will start this weekend and will continue at different venues for the next month.
The survey is being carried out in partnership with Burnley's Local Strategic Partnership and is aimed at finding out what local people think about their area and how it can be improved.
Development manager Lea Fothergill said: "This is a genuine attempt to engage the community.
"Residents of the area can contribute at various locations and officers will be asking local people for their views."
The consultation will be held at the following venues: Marsden Building Society, Saturday, May 18, from 9.30am to noon; Kiddrow Lane Health Centre, Monday, May 20, from 9am to noon; Cheapside Post Office, Thursday, May 23, from 9am to noon; Marsden Building Society, Friday, May 24, from 9pm to 11.30am; George IV pub, Friday, May 24, from noon to 2pm; Spar shop, Padiham Road, Saturday, May 25, from noon to 3pm and Gannow Community Centre, Monday, June 10 from 7pm to 9.30pm.
