NEW chairmen and vice-chairmen of committees on Rossendale Council have been put forward by the leading Labour group.
Coun Graham Pearson is now head of corporate policy and Coun David Hancock vice-chairman. Community services, for housing and environmental health, is chaired by Coun Alyson Barnes with Coun Marilyn Proctor vice-chairman.
The development and environmental services committee head is Coun Nick Pilling and vice-chairman Coun Dale Connearn. Leisure committee chairman is Coun Lawrence Forshaw and Hugh McCaw is deputy.
Finance and personnel chairman is Coun Pearson with Coun Pilling as deputy and the overview and scrutiny chairman is Coun John McManus with vice-chairman Coun Adrian Lythgoe.
