needs to act
Isn't it amazing how the British Government has remained remarkably quiet on the destruction and death that has happened in Palestine? I am more appalled at our governments lack of action.
Tony Blair has said that the Israelis should leave the occupied land, but that's about it. Why not threaten to send the Israeli ambassador to Britain back home or ban arms sales to Israel?
Why hasn't our government chased up all the UN Resolutions that Israel has ignored since 1948? Because they care.
Muslims here have said that suicide bombings are wrong. But Palistinians are freedom fighters not terrorists - Sharon is the terrorist.
I think we should all write petitions and letters to our MPs. We should tell them that we will vote tactically if they do not make some more noise and put more pressure on the government. You never know - there might be a possibility of your MP losing his seat and that might make them act.
