WE would like to thank all the people who stopped on Ringley Road on May 5 following a riding accident.
I would especially thank Jacqui who sat with Lucie, reassuring her and keeping her head stable and the gentleman who called the ambulance for us. The ambulance staff were marvellous, as were the doctors and nurses at Booth Hall Children's Hospital.
Thankfully, Lucie was discharged with only a severe graze behind her knee, bruising to her hip, leg and arm. She realises that she was very lucky but has not lost her nerve around horses and is determined to get riding as soon as possible. Once again our thanks to everyone concerned.
LIZA, PETER
and LUCIE
